Can you tell when it was taken (within a five year span)
If you can answer oned, you get a bron ze.

Well, Grandpa, that's you in the right corner. And it's taken in France, which means you were on your mission. But I'm not sure when you went on your mission . . . sometime in the 40s for sure. So not quite a gold, but a silver. I'll take that!

To be even more specific, I bet it was taken in Paris. You named the picture "Paris + Preacher". (-:

I'm trying to imagine where it was taken since I think the mission home was in Geneva - it looks like a very stately place though and I don't envision LDS branches in Paris having such luxury - hmmmmmm, maybe it's some sort of government building?

Well, first I was going to say it was Henry Fonda in some old film, but then I read the caption under the photo and figured that wasn't right. I'm guessing it was taken at....uh...Versailles!

Times up. The rest of you are no longer eligible for the gold.
Amy goes to the head of the class
for teaching me something I didn't know: how to find the name of the file. Hence, she knew it was Paris.
Barb: We rented the hall where we had meetings in Paris way back in 1948 when this picture was taken. It actually appeared in a Paris newspaper. I'd forgotten all about it until I found it among some letters my mother had saved.
Denny, could you make that Cary Grant? Ang, you earned a silver +
for being first responder.
